Annie Mist Thorisdottir is an experienced professional CrossFit athlete hailing from Reykjavik Iceland. The owner is of Crossfit Reykjavik and runs it in addition. Annie is the only woman to have ever won twice in CrossFit Games. In 2010, she finished 2nd. Annie Thorisdottir (Islander) is a weightlifter CrossFit and a media star. She is popular for being the first woman who won at the CrossFit Games twice in 2011 as well as 2012. Her other achievements include securing Dubai Fitness Championships in 2013, 2017 and 2013. Annie was born in Iceland, Reykjavik along with her parents and siblings. Being a sports and fitness enthusiast since an early age, she took part in numerous school competitions and was awarded numerous medals. She first competed in CrossFit in California in 2009. Her performance was good at her very first games. Annie Thorisdottir, at the time of her 2021 birthday, is 31 years old. She's 5' 7" tall and weighs around 67 pounds. Annie started CrossFit at the age of 7 in California. At the beginning of her competition, she was very successful and was ranked in the first 10 of the 70 competitors. Although she didn't take home any titles She finished in the 11th spot. In 2010 Annie finished 1st in European Regionals Qualifier. Coach Jami Tikannen coached her to the second position at the CrossFit Games, and a medal in the silver category that year. The following year, she again participated in the CrossFit competitions and due to her outstanding performance she was able to win the games and became the first woman to win CrossFit Games. Annie is the only woman to win consecutive CrossFit Games. In 2012, Annie once again became the CrossFit Games winner due to her outstanding performance. Additionally, in 2014 Annie was awarded a Silver Medal, as well as, more recently, in 2021, she took home a Bronze Medal in the CrossFit Games. Annie is a coach and trainer in Crossfit Reykjavik that she started. As she has gained more recognition as an athlete Annie has been a face of a variety of sports brands, including Reebok Rogue Fitness Transparent Labs Renaissance Periodization Nuun Hydration Sidekick Yerbae among many others. The self-titled Youtube page is awash with over 1000 users, posting the videos of her family and trips and training-related diets.
